Matteo Thun’s Hotel Palazzi collection designed especially for Object Carpet, with elegance and finesse, perfectly matched to the requirements of modern hotel interiors. With excellent comfort values and durability, the qualities of the textile floors Hotel Palazzi are designed for the use in high traffic areas in the lobby or in the lounge, in rooms or suites – and in any other area where understatement is reflected in design. A collection of sensitive aesthetics that Thun represented in five designs each one with six selected shades of grey. Focused on the essential, calm and present, contemporary and timeless at the same time, the designs define the designer´s personal style. The carpet has unique textures that evoke both a memorable visual and physical sensory experience. Shades of warm and cool grey open up opportunities to create subtle compositions of perfectly designed interiors.

Matteo Thun, Architect and Designer, born in Bolzano in 1952, studied at the Academy of Salzburg with Oskar Kokoschka and at the University of Florence. He acted as Art Director for Swatch and in 2000 he started the M.T. Partnership (MTP) with Luca Colombo, Herbert Rathmaier and Antonio Rodriguez. Today, the studio includes a team of 50 Architects and Designers.
